Muc-Off Motorsport boss in massive battle for a win

25/06/2009 16:07:53

The second round of the British Autograss championships, in West Wales was held last weekend with some of the best racing seen in a long time. Wayne Mathurin, MD of SWAT was seen racing in the class 5 series, battling it out against Darren Lodge and Anthony Jackson. 640 competitors raced each other in hot and sunny conditions to secure points towards the British Championship. Not many other championships in motorsport can boast such numbers!

In hot sunny conditions, Wayne came through only to lose it in the final, with Darren steaming to a well deserved win. “Good thing Darren uses Muc-Off” commented Wayne, “at least a Muc-Off car won. There are now a number of Autograss contenders using the products including Chris Pope and all are really pleased with the results – with Russ Shepherd winning class 8 running his car with Muc-Off decals to match the bannering of Wayne’s own car.

So, to the next round at Javelin Park, Little Haresfield, Gloscester on July the 11th and 12th July. Come along and join us, and share the excitement of a fun filled event for all the family – and watch Wayne compete in his mad Extreme mini – only a mini in a vague way, with the totally insane B&J engine from Bob Jones and chassis built especially by Extreme for the mad cap racing that is Autograss racing.
